El 2 de Marzo de 1974, el joven militante del Movimiento Ibérico de Liberación,Salvador Puig Antich, se convirtió en el último preso político ejecutado enEspaña mediante “garrote vil”. Ésta es su historia y la de los intentosdesesperados de su familia, compañeros y abogados por evitar su ejecución.
On 2 March 1974, the young militant of the Movimiento Ibérico de Liberación(Iberian Liberation Movement), Salvador Puig Antich, became the last politicalprisoner to be executed in Spain by the garrotte. This is his story and that ofthe desperate attempts of his family, colleagues and lawyers to avoid hisexecution.
