Tras 25 años de incansable trayectoria y en el momento álgido de su carrera, la banda de rock Berri Txarrak decide parar. Antes, y a modo de despedida, emprenden una última gira por medio mundo para agradecer a todos esos fans que han vibrado con su música durante este tiempo. La cineasta Marina Lameiro se embarca con ellos con la intención de registrarlo, construyendo un retrato coral a partir de historias diversas que van desde su propia tierra hasta México, Alemania, Japón, Estados Unidos… marcadas todas ellas por una pasión común: la música de Berri Txarrak.
Vemos el poso que han dejado sus canciones en un relato que sigue los últimos pasos de un grupo capaz de trascender un estilo, una lengua y varias generaciones para convertirse en un fenómeno universal.
"Dardara" es un documental que avanza a través de las letras y reflexiones de Gorka Urbizu, autor de las canciones del grupo durante un cuarto de siglo y que ahora se enfrenta al vértigo de un futuro creativo por escribir. Una película sobre el poder de la música y la pasión -ese mínimo exigible, como reza una de sus letras-, la misma que les ha guiado desde sus inicios hasta esta última gira y con la que han logrado formar parte importante de la vida de miles de personas.

After 25 years of non-stop creation and at the peak of their career, the rock band Berri Txarrak decided to hang up their instruments. But before they did that, and as a farewell, they did one last tour around the world to thank all those fans who had bopped to their music all those years. Filmmaker Marina Lameiro went with them with the intention of recording the occasion, constructing a choral portrait from diverse stories that range from Spain to Mexico, Germany, Japan, the United States, etc., all marked by a common passion: the music of Berri Txarrak.
We see what their songs have left behind in a story that follows the final steps of a group capable of transcending a style, a language, and several generations to become a universal phenomenon.
"Dardara" (Trembling) is a documentary that progresses through the lyrics and reflections of Gorka Urbizu, author of the group´s songs for a quarter of a century and who now faces the vertigo of a creative future that is yet to be written. A film about the power of music and passion – the “minimum requirement,” as one of their lyrics says. Passion is what has guided them from their beginnings to this last tour and what has allowed them to become an important part of the life of thousands of people.

(Euskera) 25 urte taula gainean eman ondoren, eta taldearen unerik gorenean, Berri Txarrak-ek geldialdi mugagabea iragarri zuen, ibilbide oparo bati etena jarriz. Geratu aurretik, baina, azken bira bat egiteko nahia adierazi zuten, mundu osoko zaleak merezi bezala eskertu eta agurtzeko. Bidaia horretan Marina Lameiroren kamera izango zuten bidelagun, birak zaleengan sortutako dardara dokumental batean jasotzeko asmoz. Zinemagileak jarraitzaileon istorioekin irudi koral bat eraikiko du, etxetik hasi eta hainbat herrialdetako zaleen bizitzen txatalak tartekatuz: Mexiko, Japonia, Alemania, Estatu Batuak… denek ere pasio bera partekatuko dute: Berri Txarrak rock taldearen musika.
Hirukoaren kantuek utzitako lorratza ikusi ahal izango dugu pelikulan zehar; taldearen azken urratsen lekuko izanen gara; estilo, hizkuntza eta hainbat belaunaldi ezberdinen langak gainditu eta harago doan fenomeno baten unibertsaltasuna agertuko zaigu pantailan.
Lameirok Gorka Urbizuren letra eta hausnarketen gainean ardaztu du Dardara dokumentala. BTX-en kantuen sortzaile nagusiak idazteke dagoen etorkizun baten bertigoari –dardarari- aurre egin beharko dio orain. Orobat, musikaren indarrari eta pasioari buruzko pelikula ere bada hau –exijitzea zilegi den gutxieneko hori. Izan ere, horixe izan dute iparrorratz hasiera-hasieratik azken bira arte. Pasio horri esker lortu du Berri Txarrak-ek milaka lagunen bizitzaren parte garrantzitsu izatea.
