Una pareja de cineastas recorre el mundo capturando imágenes de desconocidos. Su objetivo es deshacer el manto de obviedad que cubre la realidad. Pero ¿es posible filmar lo que se muestra sin esconderse?¿Es posible desnudar intimidades sin proyectar una mirada obscena ni condescendiente? La reflexión sobre su proyecto artístico y vital colapsa ante una realidad oscilando entre obviedad e insensatez. Ninguna imagen consigue rasgar el velo de la obviedad. Sin embargo, los rostros y gestos cotidianos de la humanidad producen una profunda empatía.

Two filmmakers, a couple, travel the world while capturing images of unknown people. Their aim is to sweep away the layer of obviousness that coats reality. However, is it possible to film what is shown without hiding oneself? Is it possible to expose intimacies without projecting an obscene or condescending gaze? Reflection on their artistic and life project collapses before a reality that swings between obviousness and foolishness. No image succeeds in rending the veil of obviousness. Even so, the faces and everyday gestures of humankind stir profound empathy.
