- EXTENDED SYNOPSIS
Orson Welles, desde su juventud, tuvo fijación con dos genios, uno de las letras, Shakespeare, y otro de la pintura, de la imagen, Francisco de Goya. Estas fascinaciones, además de la que sentía por España y sus manifestaciones más populares, sonlasque se recogen en el documental.Entre el año 1957 y 1961 Orson Melles va grabando imágenes por toda España a la vez que sigue las temporadas taurinas de su gran amigo el torero Antonio Ordóñez. Esas imágenes inéditas, en su mayoría de carácter familiar o personal, rodadas paracumplimentar series vendidas a las televisiones extranjeras o para su propio disfrute, son la base del documental que nos muestra esa España remota de los años 50 y las coincidencias biográficas, temáticas o técnicas con Francisco de Goya.

These images, mostly of naturefamily or personal, shot to complete the series soldforeign televisions or for his own enjoyment, are the basis ofdocumentary that shows us that Spain remote from the 50´s andbiographical similarities, thematic or technical Francisco de Goya.
