Cada año miles de africanos se juegan la vida para intentar llegar en patera a las Islas Canarias. Ousman Diao es uno de ellos. Unos meses después, aún en su pequeño poblado al Sur de Senegal, se dedica a lo mismo que la mayoría de sus amigos, anada,la tierra no da para más. Mientras deambula por la región recuerda su periplo hacia una tierra mejor.

Each year thousands of Africans risk their lives trying to reach the Canary Islands in small boats. Ousman Diao is one of them. A few months later, still in a small village in the South of Senegal, he spends his time doing what the majority of hisfriends are doing: absolutely nothing as this is all the land offers. While he is wandering around the region he remembers his journey towards a better land.
