He buscado la memoria de mis familiares por los lugares donde estuvieron tras ser represaliados por el Franquismo. Me encontré en las fronteras, en los campos y en las cárceles con su historia [y la mía] suspendida entre las grietas, como antiguas pinturas que afloran después quemar una iglesia. Dentro del archivo, el familiar y el público, vuelven a ser miradas las imágenes y leídos los documentos. Todo ello ha construido un puente intergeneracional que me une con mi abuela y su madre.

I have searched for the memory of my relatives in the places where they were after being repressed by Francoism. I found myself at the borders, in the camps and in the prisons with their history [and mine] suspended between the cracks, like old paintings that emerge after burning a church. Inside the archive, the familiar and the public, the images are revisited and the documents are read. All this has built an intergenerational bridge that links me to my grandmother and her mother.
