Tras la guerra civil española, Carmela se une a las milicias junto a miles de mujeres. Su lucha es doble: enfrentar al fascismo y defender las libertades ganadas en la Segunda República. After the Spanish Civil War starts, Carmela joins the militias and goes to the front as many other women.
