El traspaso de una vieja peluquería muestra el cambio social del barrio deLavapiés en Madrid y sus gentes. Amigo no gima narra, durante la celebracióndel nuevo año chino, despedidas y comienzos, sueños puestos en marcha y sueñosrotos. Españoles, marroquíes, chinos, africanos, latinos... están destinados aconvivir en el mismo espacio.
The sale of an old hairdresser’s salon demonstrates the social change takingplace in the Madrid district of Lavapiés and to its people. “Don’t moan, myfriend” tells us about farewells and beginnings, dreams come true and brokendreams during the celebrations for the Chinese New Year. Spaniards, Moroccans,the Chinese, Africans, Latin Americans …. are all fated to live together in thesame area.
