Un Mal de origen sobrenatural está infectando el pueblo de Marinbad y a susgentes, amenazando con extenderse más allá de sus límites geográficos. Algunoshombres del lugar consiguen que las autoridades construyan una presa queinundará para siempre el pueblo, sellando el Mal bajo las aguas. Pero algoquedó allí abajo cuando las aguas cubrieron Marinbad...Cuarenta años después, en la actualidad, varias desapariciones y muertes encircunstancias misteriosas asolan Debaria, el pueblo creado junto al lagoartificial que cubre Marinbad.
