- EXTENDED SYNOPSIS
Comedia de relaciones humanas que cuenta la historia de los monjes y seminaristas del monasterio de San Teodosio. Un monasterio en quiebra cuya única oportunidad de salvación está en ganar la “Champion Clerum”: un torneo europeo de fútbol sólo para religiosos. El problema es que en esa congregación no juega al fútbol "ni Dios".
A story about miracles and perfectly timed kicks, HOLY GOALIE follows a young, unorthodox priest who has been given the divine charge of coaching a soccer team of holy (and highly amateur) players. Threatened by lack of funding, the team must win the regional championship in order to raise enough money to save their little mountain monastery. A light-hearted comedy full of penalties and prayers.
