- EXTENDED SYNOPSIS
Pasca vive en el madrileño barrio de Vallecas. Pasa los días cuidando de su hermano pequeño, trabajando en un gimnasio e intentando ayudar a su mejor amigo, Fonsi, un exboxeador que está pasando una mala racha. Pasca es un superviviente nato y, apesarde no tener esperanza, intenta superar cada día con sarcasmo. Su vida cambia cuando aparece Adela, una joven profesora que acaba de llegar al barrio y le hará ver las cosas con otra perspectiva.
Pasca is immersed in a grey life taking care of Toni, his wheelchair-bound brother, receiving blows as a boxing sparrer and trying to help Fonsi, his best friend, once a promising boxer and now an alcoholic living on the edge of an abyss. Anchoredin apainful existence with no hope, the arrival of Adela, a young teacher just arrived to the neighbourhood will mean a change in his perception of life. Dioses y perros is a film about facing our fears, getting on in life, finding and acceptinglove...and, ultimately, about hope.
