Tres amigas de toda la vida se embarcan en una aventura para descubrir la China profunda. Se ven perdidas en medio de la nada, incomunicadas, incómodas e inmersas en una situación que no es lo que esperaban. Después de empezar a tomarse pastillas contra la malaria sus inseguridades se vuelven paranoias y se sienten amenazas por todo lo que hay a su alrededor. La enajenación las lleva a sentir miedo las unas de las otras, incluso a sentir miedo de sí mismas. En este contexto se tendrán que enfrentar a esos problemas de los que querían huir cuando emprendieron el viaje.

Three friends backpacking through rural China. They find themselves in the middle of nowhere, uncommunicated, uncomfortable and immersed in a situation that is not what they expected. After taking malaria pills their insecurities turn into paranoias and they start to feel threatened by everything around them. They start to be afraid of each other, they are even afraid of themselves. Under these circumstances they will be forced to face those problems they were running away from when they started their journey.
