Julia y Samuel se mudan con los niños a una apartada urbanización en lasafueras de la ciudad. Parece un lugar ideal, pero pronto descubrirán que laidílica urbanización encierra algo más. Desde el primer día Julia tiene lasensación de que algo extraño está sucediendo a su alrededor. Sus temores semultiplican cuando descubre que la urbanización se encuentra completamentedesierta, en ella no vive nadie más. Aterrorizada por lo extraño de lasituación y recelosa ante la incomprensión de Samuel y los niños, Juliacomienza a sentirse el centro de una angustiosa confabulación.

Julía and Samuel move to an isolated estate on the outskirts of the city withtheir children. It seems to be the perfect place but very soon they find outthat the idyllic estate holds something else. From the very first day Julia hasthe feeling that something strange is happening around her. Her fears increasewhen she finds out that the estate is completely deserted and nobody else livesthere. Scared to death by the strangeness of this situation and made wary bythe lack of understanding from Samuel and the children, Julia begins to feelthat she is the centre of a distressing plot.
