Juan Martín, un joven de San Sebastián, decide pasar el verano en un caseríoperdido en el monte para mejorar su nivel de euskera. En el caserío comprobaráque el euskera que manejan sus habitantes difiere bastante del que ha aprendidoen las aulas. La familia del caserío la forman el padre, la abuela y cuatrohijos. Por una parte están los problemas lingüísticos y por otra eldesconocimiento que tiene el protagonista del entorno rural en el que hadesembarcado. La sensual Ixabel, la hija pequeña de la familia, despertarásentimientos desconocidos hasta ahora para él. Pero Ixabel tiene un compañero,Anjel Mari, guapo y destacado pelotari. El clímax se alcanzará en las fiestasdel pueblo.

Juan Martin, a young man from San Sebastian, decides to spend the summer in aremote farmhouse in the mountains to improve his level of Basque. In thefarmhouse he finds that the Basque used by the inhabitants is quite a bitdifferent from the Basque he learnt in the classroom. The family in the houseis made up of the father, the grandmother and four children. The language isnot the only problem as he realizes he knows next to nothing about the ruralenvironment in which he has arrived. The sensual Izabel, the youngest daughterin the family awakens feelings that he has never experienced before. But Ixabelhas a companion, Anjel Mari, an attractive young man and an outstanding pelotaplayer. Things reach a climax in the village festival.
