"Controverso" es un viaje musical sobre la poesía improvisada con las mayores figuras de la improvisación de habla hispana, introducido por Luna, una joven interesada en la cultura hip hop. Una noche se encuentra al improvisador cubano Alexis Díaz Pimienta que le habla de los troveros de La Alpujarra y de los repentistas de Cuba. Luna decide investigar formas de improvisación que desconocía y emprende un viaje a conocer el trovo que la llevará hasta Cuba para conectar el rap y el freestyle con la tradición poética oral más antigua del mundo. LUNA is a young rapper disenchanted with the music industry. One night he meets the Cuban writer and repentista Alexis Díaz Pimienta.
