El paraíso agreste de la isla atlántica de Ons, con apenas unos pocos habitantes dispersos entre el verdor y los acantilados, ejerce como un polo magnético en la vida de un grupo de personas. Vicente y Mariña llegan para pasar el verano allí: él viene de un accidente y sus consecuencias psicológicas, y el viaje ha de ser bálsamo para el matrimonio de ambos. La estancia se prolonga a petición de él, y a medida que los días se van tornando borrascosos, secretos guardados empiezan a aflorar, y una mujer extranjera aparece desmayada en la orilla del mar. Una enigmática irrupción que terminará de extender un influjo innombrable en sus vidas.

The untamed paradise on the Atlantic island of Ons, with just a few inhabitants scattered among the greenery and cliffs, acts as a magnetic pole in the life of a group of people. Vincent and Mariña arrive to spend the summer there: he comes from an accident and its psychological consequences, so the trip is supposed to be a calming balm for their marriage. At his request, the stay is extended, and while the days become stormy, guarded secrets begin to surface, as a foreign woman appears unconscious on the seashore. An enigmatic irruption that will end up extending an unmentionable influence on their lives.
