Tellería, un pueblo ubicado en el corazón del País Vasco con quien tiene conexión geográfica y cultural, pertenece anacrónicamente a Castilla-León. Desde hace mucho tiempo sus responsables municipales han intentado, sin éxito, la anexión al País Vasco. El descubrimiento casual en la iglesia del pueblo de una cripta secreta en la que hay un sepulcro medieval que pertenece a Walter Tell, hijo del legendario héroe helvético Guillermo Tell, origina el descubrimiento de un documento que permite a los habitantes del pueblo abandonar España y pedir la anexión a Suiza. El país centroeuropeo recibe con curiosidad a los representantes del enclave y condiciona su anexión a la Confederación Helvética al cumplimiento de unos requisitos que el nuevo cantón debe cumplir en un año. Mientras tanto, Tellería cierra su frontera siendo provisionalmente un nuevo cantón suizo y los gobiernos de España y País Vasco se afanan por impedir y boicotear la independencia del pueblo.

Tellería, a town located in the heart of the Basque Country with whom it has a geographical and cultural connection, belongs anachronistically to Castilla-León.
