Amparo, una mujer que huye del dolor causado por una traumática pérdida en elpasado, se refugia en una perfecta burbuja de rutina de trabajo y vida sinsobresaltos, hasta que se ve empujada a defender un caso judicial deindemnización por muerte. Este proceso, del que en un primer momento trata dehuir, acaba por convertirse en una obsesión que la devuelve al mundo de los“vivos”.
