Son tiempos de revolución, de incendiarios manifiestos y de experimentos escénicos que culminan en tresobrasdeteatro de vanguardia. Solo una llegó a ser representada. Las otras permanecieron ocultas durante décadas. Esta es la historia de una utopía frustrada, la de los primeros "modernos".

In the 20s and the 30s of the past century, a group of artists and intellectuals wanted to bring the Canary Island closer to the European modernity. Those were times of revolution, incendiary manifestos and stage experiments which culminated inthecreation of three avant-garde plays. Only one of them was staged. The other two were kept hidden for decades. This is the story of a frustrated utopia, of the first “moderns”.
