Josele es un padre que corre maratones nacionales e internacionales empujando del carro donde está su hija, María, enferma de Síndrome de Rett, una afección genética altamente incapacitante que en la actualidad no tiene cura. Su objetivo al cruzarunaLínea de Meta es dar a conocer la enfermedad de su hija, y reivindicar que los niños con enfermedades raras existen aunque las empresas farmacéuticas no investiguen en sus tratamientos porque no son rentables económicamente. La madre de María,MaríaJosé, y sus dos hermanos: Cristina y Dani, completan la historia. El documental narra el periplo deportivo, en paralelo a la situación familiar a la que somete una enfermedad rara. Con el diagnóstico, cada miembro de la familia cumple un rol y seveafectado en alguna dimensión: física, psicológica y/o social. Cada uno vive su "empujar del carro" para llegar a la Línea de Meta.

Josele’s objective when crossing a Finish Line is toraiseawareness on his daughter’s disease, to let it known that kids with rare diseases exist even though pharmaceutical companies do not research their treatment as they are not economically profitable. María’s mother, María José, and her two siblings:Cristina and Dani, complete the story. The documentary narrates a sports journey alongside the situation to which a rare disease subjects a family. With the diagnosis, each member of the family has their role and is affected at some level, be itphysical, psychological and/or social. Each one lives their own “pushing the car” to reach the Finish Line.
