Es Navidad en una pequeña aldea de los pirineos.Olentzero es un entrañable personaje que representa el espíritu navideño yreparte los regalos a los niños. Ha recibido ya todas las cartas de los niñosdel valle y está viendo su comportamiento a través del “tronco mágico”, quearde en su chimenea.En estos días ha llegado al pueblo un malvado hombre denegocios que pretende talar el bosque para construir una estación de esquí.Será él quien robe a Olentzero el “tronco mágico” y todas las cartas, poniendoen peligro que los niños puedan recibir sus regalos.Anjé, un joven carbonero, será el encargado de poner las cosas en su sitio. Conla ayuda de los demás niños del pueblo, pasarán un sin fin de aventuras ypeligros hasta lograr que la normalidad vuelva al valle y la Navidad puedaseguir su curso.

Olentzero is a pleasantperson who represents the Christmas spirit and hands out presents to children.He’s already received all the letters from the children in the valley and iswatching their behaviour through the “magic log” which burns in his fireplace.A wicked businessman has arrived in the village at this time. He intends to cutdown the wood to build a ski resort. This man steals the “magic log” and allthe children’s letters from the Olentzero so putting the children’s presents atrisk. Anjé, a young coalman, is going to be responsible for sorting out thissituation. With the help of the other children in the village they will havemany adventures and live through dangers before they finally manage to bringthe village back to normal so that Christmas can go on as usual.
