Rubén es un camionero solitario que desde hace años recorre la ruta entre Asunción del Paraguay y Buenos Aires llevando madera, pero el viaje que hoy está por iniciar será diferente: esa mañana, en una parada de ruta cerca de Asunción, Jacintallegaconalguien más, la pequeña Anahí, su hija de 8 meses, que viajará con ellos. Para Rubén no es el mejor comienzo. Con el correr de los kilómetros, la relación entre Rubén y Jacinta irá creciendo. Lentamente, a pesar de las dificultades paracomunicarse,cada uno irá intuyendo al otro. Ninguno cuenta demasiado sobre su vida. Ninguno pregunta demasiado tampoco. Es un viaje de pocas palabras, pero no es un viaje silencioso. Cuando están por llegar a destino los dos tienen el mismo deseo: que elviajenotermine.

Ruben is a solitary truck driver who for years has been driving from Asuncion in Paraguay to Buenos Aires hauling wood. But the journey he’s about to make today will be different: that morning, at a stop on the road near Asunción, Jacinta arriveswithsomeone else, the little Anahi, her 8 month old daughter, who will travel with them. It´s not the best start for Ruben. As the kilometres go by, Ruben and Jacinta get along increasingly well. Slowly, despite their difficulties in communicating,theystart understanding one another. Neither tells much about their lives. But neither do they ask much. It is a journey of few words, yet anything but silent. On the point of arriving at their destination, both share the same desire: they don´t wantthejourney to end.
