Para esta odisea y tributo, los tres pianistas más destacados del latin-jazzmundial, se unen para servirnos como guías con base en este género musical: Chucho Valdés, Michel Camilo y Gonzalo Rubalcaba. Chucho Valdés en La Habana natal de Lecuona, fusiona latin jazz con ritmos afro-cubano. Michel Camilo en Nueva York (ciudad donde triunfó y yace Lecuona) y en las Islas Canarias (la raíz familiar de Lecuona) recrea elegantes atmósferas sonoras. Gonzalo Rubalcaba, en Sevilla, el corazón de Andalucía-España, y espacio de inspiración para Lecuona, fusiona jazz con flamenco.
