- EXTENDED SYNOPSIS
Los relojes que ayer ocupaban la vida de los pueblos se han quedado parados. El ánimo por superar una enfermedad impulsa a Bego y a Xabier a iniciar un proceso de reparación de relojes monumentales pertenecientes a su familia de tradición relojera. La historia de los Yeregi cuenta cómo la industrialización cambió la vida de las personas y sus ritmos vitales. La música y la poesía subvierten esta sincronía. Y la reparación y restauración en auzolan (grupos de trabajo voluntarios y populares) recuperan unos ritmos olvidados.
The clocks that used to occupy the life of the villages, today are stopped. With the aim of overcoming a disease, Bego and Xabier begin a process of repairing monumental watches belonging to his family of watchmaking tradition. The history of the Yeregi tells how industrialization changed people’s lifes and their vital rhytms. Music and poetry subverts its synchrony. Repair and restoration in voluntary and popular work groups recover forgotten rhythms.
