Ernesto del Valle es un exitoso empresario mexicano casado con María González. Él vive para trabajar y ha dejado de dedicarle tiempo a su esposa. María acude a una sesión de regresión para entender mejor su relación sentimental, pero cuandotermina,María regresa convencida de que es una princesa vasca del siglo XV. Asustada y vulnerable, sufre un ataque de pánico y la internan en un hospital, hablando un idioma que nadie comprende. Con ayuda de Iñaki Landaburu, un chef vasco muy particular,Ernesto logra comunicarse con ella y se da cuenta de lo mucho que ama a su esposa y hará de todo para recuperarla.

Ernesto del Valle is a successful Mexican businessman who is married to Maria Gonzalez, a beautiful housewife who emigrated from Spain. Ernesto is a workaholic, and although he provides her with all kinds of luxuries, after 7 years of marriage hehasstopped giving Maria the attention she desires. Missing the love that they used to have and upset he is refusing to begin a family by giving her a child, she’s beginning to think that Ernesto is having an affair.Maria’s best friends talk her into getting a past-life regression through hypnosis as a way to help her understand her relationship. When the therapist ends the session, she doesn’t come back as herself. Maria is convinced she is a Basque princessfromthe XVth century, who is engaged to the love of her life, a prince from that time. Scared and vulnerable, Maria has a panic attack and ends up in a hospital speaking a language no one understands.Ernesto becomes jealous of a prince that doesn’t exist. He soon comes to realize how much he loves and misses his wife. He hires Iñaki Landaburu, a peculiar Basque chef to help as interpreter. His efforts lead them to the Basque Country as onelastattempt to bring Maria back.
