Lucy, una muñeca hiperrealista, despierta por primera vez en la habitación de un prostíbulo de muñecas. Allí convive con Mina, otra muñeca. Están atrapadas entre cuatro paredes de terciopelo. Cuando nadie las ve, cobran vida y dedican sus ratos libres a ver la televisión. Esa pequeña pantalla es su ventana al mundo real. Mina lleva mucho tiempo despierta, pero para Lucy todo es nuevo. Así que está fascinada; quiere seguir descubriendo. Gracias a la televisión viajan a otros lugares: una discoteca, un dinner, la Luna. Se empiezan a enamorar lo que provoca que pasado un tiempo, Lucy deje de fijarse en la pantalla y ponga su atención en las cosas tangibles. Ahora que tiene una noción de lo que puede experimentar, no quiere conformarse. Lucy tendrá que elegir entre perseguir su deseo, asumiendo las consecuencias de salir a lo desconocido, o quedarse encerrada para siempre junto a la muñeca a la que ama.

Lucy, a regular sex doll, comes to life for the first time in a bedroom of a doll brothel. She shares room with Mina, another sex doll. They are trapped between four velvet walls. But when no one sees them, they come alive and spend their free time watching TV. The screen is their window into the real world. Mina has been awake for a long time, but for Lucy everything is new. So she is fascinated; she wants to keep discovering. The TV allows them to travel to other places: a disco, a dinner, the Moon. They begin to fall in love which causes Lucy to stop looking at the screen and focus on the tangible things. Now that she has a sense of what she can experience, she does not want to settle. Lucy will have to choose between pursuing her desire of escaping, assuming the consequences of going out into the unknown, or being locked up forever with the doll she loves.
