Hace casi dos décadas el pantano de Itoiz inundó siete pueblos y tres reservas naturales en las laderas del Pirineo navarro. El grupo ecologista Solidari@s con Itoiz documentó en video la lucha contra su construcción. Hoy, aquellos que estuvieron allí sueñan con la tierra que permanece bajo el agua. Sus voces y gestos se entrelazan para dar cuenta de un duelo individual y colectivo que se extiende hasta el presente.

Nearly two decades ago the Itoiz reservoir flooded seven villages and three nature reserves on the slopes of Navarre Pyrenees. The environmental group Solidari@s with Itoiz documented on video the fight against its construction. Today, those who were there dream of the land that remains underwater. Their voices and gestures intertwine to account for an individual and collective mourning that extends to the present.

(Euskara) Ia bi hamarkada igaro dira Itoizko urtegiak zazpi herri eta hiru erreserba natural urperatu zituenetik Nafarroako Pirinioetako magaletan. Itoitzekiko elkartasuna talde ekologistak eraikuntzaren aurkako borroka bideoan dokumentatu zuen. Gaur, han bizi zirenek uraren azpian geratzen den lurrarekin amesten dute. Haien ahotsek eta jestuek gaur egun arte hedatzen den dolu indibidual eta kolektibo baten berri ematen dute.
