A documentary showing us the events which took place between 1808 and 1817 during the Spanish Peninsula War and the Mexican war of Independence. Javier Mina emerges as a very representative figure in this context. He was nicknamed “The Student” intheSieges of Saragossa, the first guerilla recognized by the Parliament of Cadiz, corporal in the Corso Terrestre of Alto Aragon, torchbearer for freedom in Europe and commander of the Mexican pro-independence army.
