TIERRA DE LECHE Y MIEL es un retrato colectivo del desplazamiento. Un acercamiento íntimo a diferentes hombres y mujeres cuyas vidas se han visto terriblemente transformadas por la guerra y la violencia.
A las afueras de Sarajevo, Mirsada y sus dos hijas, al igual que otras 15 familias de diferentes etnias sobreviven en la barriada de Hrasnica. Después de 25 años, siguen esperando una solución habitacional definitiva que nunca llega.
Bela, a sus 78 años, lucha cada día para recuperar los cuerpos de los desaparecidos en las guerras de Abjasia. A su vez, cientos de desplazados provocados por el conflicto comienzan a adquirir en Tblisi las prometidas viviendas gubernamentales. Sin embargo, las soluciones no llegan siempre cuando se las espera.
Miles de personas han llegado a Grecia huyendo de diferentes conflictos de Oriente Medio. Como Alia y Hussein, son detenidas en Polykastro, un páramo cerca de la frontera macedonia, un limbo del que es complicado salir.
TIERRA DE LECHE Y MIEL es un relato del día a día particular de quienes se enfrentan al desarraigo y una reflexión sobre la condición humana dentro de un fenómeno universal que se repite desde el principio de la historia.
