El 25 de noviembre de 1956 Fidel Castro desembarca en Cuba con ochenta rebeldes. Uno de esos rebeldes es Ernesto "Che" Guevara, médico argentino que comparte un objetivo con Fidel Castro: derrocar la corrupta dictadura de Fulgencio Batista. El Chedomina rápidamente el arte de guerra de guerrillas y se muestra indispensable en la lucha. El pueblo cubano le adopta. La película muestra el auge del Che en la Revolución Cubana, de médico a comandante y héroe revolucionario.
On November 26, 1956, Fidel Castro sails to Cuba with eighty rebels. One of those rebels is Ernesto "Che" Guevara, an Argentine doctor who shares a common goal with Fidel Castro - to overthrow the corrupt dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista.
