“Tetro” es el primer guión original de Francis Ford Coppola en más de 30 años. La película es un drama poético sobre una familia desgarrada por rivalidades profundas, secretos y traiciones.“Tetro” comienza con la llegada de Bennie a Buenos Aires desde Manhattan con la esperanza de reunirse con su hermano mayor, Tetro, al que vio por última vez a la edad de siete años. Ahora, justo antes de cumplir 18 años, Bennie se niega amarcharsedeBuenos Aires sin descubrir por qué se fue su hermano y nunca volvió a por él, tal y como prometió. Al llegar al apartamento humilde de su hermano, conoce a Miranda, la novia de Tetro, y se encuentra que la calurosa acogida que pensaba encontrar deTetrono es tal.
TETRO is Francis Ford Coppola´s first original screenplay since THE CONVERSATION. It is his most personal film yet arising from memories and emotions from his early life, though totally fictional. It is the bittersweet story of two brothers, offamiliylost and found and the conflicts and secrets within a highly creative Argentine-Italian family.
