Nerea, 38 years, is a mother who is trying to find a balance between her family life and her profession as a journalist in a newspaper´s editorial department. That precarious balance that characterizes Nerea´s life is broken one day when hermother,Luisa, has to be checked into hospital with a total memory loss.Nerea feels guilty for not having reacted at the first symptoms of the disease when they appeared and must now face the consequences of an illness that has dragged her mother back to the past. Luisa doesn´t recognize Nerea and the latter in turndoesn´tunderstand why her mother keeps asking her to take her to the lighthouse and why she repeatedly calls out a man´s name: Herman - a complete stranger to Nerea.Overwhelmed by her feelings of guilt and trapped in a stressing reality, Nerea receives some news that will destabilize her life even further: Mayte, her best friend, tells her that she has seen Carlos - a boyfriend of hers from the past whodisappearedmysteriously 15 years ago and she was never able to forget.
