In this documentary, Ángel Llorca and his collaborator, Justa Freire, personify the best of the school in its purest state as it set in motion dialogue, research, an environment for learning, autonomy, responsibility, scientific method and thepotentialfor creativity in any daily activity. These two characters from the beginning of the 20th century give a glimpse into the heritage of the Institución Libre de Enseñanza (Free Institute of Education), and their dedication and commitment to a schoolthatbanished outdated education in Spain, but failed reach the majority of the population.
