Lucía, José y Alfredo, tres ancianos de más de ochenta años, están unidos por un hecho que marcó sus vidas para siempre: los avatares de la Guerra Civil española provocaron la salida de su tierra cuando todavía eran unos niños. Se separaron parasiemprede sus familias y nunca volvieron a residir en su país natal. Lucía, José and Alfredo, three elderly people over the age of eighty, share something that marked their lives forever: the events of the Spanish Civil War forced them to leave their homeland when they were still children. They were separated fromtheirfamilies forever and never returned to their home country. All three made a life for themselves in Mexico, a country they now consider their own.They all coped with this enforced exile very differently, depending on their character and the experiences they went through.
