Sergio y su padre Simão no se han visto desde hace más de veinte años.Coincidiendo con el Mundial de Fútbol de 2014, Sergio regresa a su ciudadnatal, São Paulo, con la intención de encontrarse con Simão y pasar con éltodo el campeonato, viendo fútbol como hacían en su infancia. El reencuentroparece perfectamente planificado: un mes para estar juntos, un mes pautadopor el calendario del Mundial. Conforme pasan los días, el reencuentro entrepadre e hijo se adentra en un territorio imprevisible, y el pacto de ver todo elMundial juntos parece señalar ahora los pasos de un peligroso ritual.

Sergio and his father, Simão, haven’t seen each other for over 20 years. Onthe eve of the 2014 World Cup, Sergio returns to his hometown, São Paulo, hopingto watch the games with Simão, as they used to when he was a kid. It seems tobe a perfect plan for a father-son reunion: a whole month together, theirschedule based on the World Cup calendar. But as the days go by, theirrelationship starts to wander into unknown territory and their pact to watch theentire tournament together turns into a dangerous ritual.
