Al finalizar una noche de verbena, Celia fracasa en su intento de suicidio enla vías del tren. Su vida ya no volverá a ser la misma. Esa misma noche y en unlugar próximo, es violada y asesinada una adolescente. Un policía, Miguel Ángel,empezará a investigar el caso. La investigación le llevará hasta Celia yAgustín, su marido. También hasta las dos hermanas de Celia: Carmen y Ángela.Celia no recuerda ni su intento de suicidio ni los motivos que la llevaron ahacerlo.
