Este documental es una invitación a viajar a través de las cuencas Amazónicas de Perú, Colombia y Brasil y a viajar asimismo en el tiempo, a través de los ritos y mitos que se pierden en el origen de su historia y su cultura. Un periplo por las culturas y a los ritos de las plantas de poder utilizadas por los chamanes o curanderos en las ceremonias indígenas a lo largo del Gran Río, sobre todo de la Ayahuasca, “La soga de los muertos” o “el vino de los espíritus”.

This documentary is an invitation to travel through the Amazon basins of Peru, Colombia and Brazil, also travelling through time, via the rites and myths that have been lost in the origin of their history and culture. A fascinating look at the cultures and rites of the hallucinogenic plants used by shamans and healers in the indigenous ceremonies along this great river, especially ayahuasca, the "dead man´s noose" or "wine of the spirits".
